College of Technological Sciences

The College of Technological Sciences, Inc. (formerly Cebu Technical School) is an institution known for providing technical and vocational education. Also referred to as CTS, it was founded in 1950.

Formerly situated at the corner of Sanciangko Street and Junquera Street, Cebu City, CTS is now located on Natalio Bacalso Avenue, Sambag I, Cebu City.

CTS has numerous TESDA-accredited short-term courses related to automotive, mechanical, computer, electronic, and other technical programs. Although it emphasizes on technical and vocational knowledge, it also offers baccalaureate degrees such as nursing, automotive technology, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, industrial technology, and computer engineering, among others. They also have ladderized two-year certificate or associate programs that let the students decide whether they will continue studying to finish a four-year bachelor’s degree, or take the Competency Assessment exams provided by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to look for a job.

With up-to-date technical and vocational method of educational training, CTS aims to mold young Filipinos in the field of sciences and technology. It has been able to produce successful graduates who are now employed in the different sectors of the economy, holding dependable positions in both public and private companies here and abroad.
