Join the music video contest of Sun.Star Cebu and show us how much you love Cebu!
Entries must be able to convey the theme, “I love Cebu.” The music video should capture the many ways Cebuanos can love their hometown. The contest is open to all Cebuanos, whether residing in Cebu or currently outside the Philippines.
Video entries should be original. For extra points, one can make use of original music to accompany their visuals. The video length is limited to three (3) minutes or less. Submissions should be made in avi, wmv or mpeg format. Multiple submissions are allowed.
The top three videos will be published in the Sun.Star Cebu Yearbook 2012 issue. It will also be included in a DVD, which will be inserted into the Yearbook. Winners will also receive cash awards. Specifically, the recipient of the Gold award will also receive US$500 in cash. A hefty US$200 cash is also to be given to the winner of the Silver award and one Bronze award recipient will enjoy US$100 in cash.
The deadline for submission of entries will be on July 30, 2011. The video contest was released last May 16, 2011.
