Talisay City is gifted with swimming pool resorts that are not only easily accessible but are also budget-friendly for friends and families, especially to those who live in the south. Coco Maldita is one of these resorts, and here are 10 reasons you should pay this place a visit whenever you’re looking for a near yet “sulit” and quick escapade.
Pool and Beach in One
It’s the perfect destination if you don’t want to choose between the beach and the swimming pool, because Coco Maldita simply has both!
Cheap Entrance Fee
Can you believe that their entrance fee is only 60 pesos for adults and 40 pesos for kids (3-7 years old)? Here’s their complete rates:
Nighttime Party
They have an overnight party every Saturday that’s very popular among barkadas who wish to have fun by the pool all night long!
By-the-Beach Cottages
Their spacious nipa cottages cost 500-800 pesos. You may also bring your own tables and tents, which will then cost 200 and 350 pesos each, respectively.
Breathtaking Sunset
Look at that sunset, baby! This was taken beside our cottage at around 5:00 o’clock or so in the afternoon. Simply gorgeous. 🙂
Height-Friendly Pool
By height-friendly, I mean it’s for every age. They only have one big pool that has a depth of 4-8 feet. It has a picturesque landscape and comes with showers and lounge seats. The resort’s pool also has a by-standing lifeguard who’s diligently looking out for all swimmers and their safety. To enjoy their pool, you have to wear proper swimwear or if not, just wear a white t-shirt and non-denim shorts.
Affordable Accommodation
The resort only has few rooms for overnights, but since their accommodation’s near the beach, you can be assured of a refreshing and peaceful stay.
Spacious Parking Area
Upon entrance, you can easily find a space to park. Right next to the resort’s gate is a wide lawn intended for guests’ vehicles.
No Corkage Fee
We brought food and drinks, but the only things I remember paying during our visit there were the entrance fees and cottage rental. Cool, huh? 😉
In-House Bar with Various Drinks
Forgot to bring Emperador or Red Horse? You need not worry for the resort also comes with its very own liquor and beverages store.
Last but not the least, it has lesser crowd compared to other resorts in Talisay!
Coco Maldita can be contacted through (032) 462-2239. You may also visit their FB page for more info. They’re specifically in Biasong, Talisay, and is open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. To reach the place from the south road, you may ride a tricycle from the crossing going to Biasong (left side of the road if you come from the city). The resort is a few yards away from the Barangay Hall.
