Cafe Tiala and Coffee Prince. The Royal Cafes of Cebu.

I love Korean cafés! Not only because they are cute, sweet and quiet; moreover because I can go there with the kids and they are so busy playing and dressing up in Princess, rock star, and other funny celebs that they actually let me finish my coffee in peace!

Those cafés are not only toddlers’ paradise, they are made for all youngsters who just want to have fun, take funny selfies while sipping on the most colorful smoothies, and treating themselves with an awesome honey bread (the must-taste Korean specialty of all time!). No way to be bored there, between the photo shots, the drawings on post it, and the games one can play for free on Playstations!

Café Tiala opened hardly a year ago and it is my daughter’s favorite. The place looks like a doll’s house, and there are so many Princesses’ dresses, tiara and other costumes to choose from. No need to be a Lady to enjoy the place though, men can also find the funniest costumes there. They can also play on the Play Stations while their ladies are indulging in selfie sessions.

Their menu is constantly expanding, it is beyond yummy. Nothing too sweet here, in comparison to all the other Korean cafés around. They even have a great list of herbal tea, and their snake-shaped sushi is simply delicious. 🙂

Cafe Tiala can be reached by calling 260-5503. You may also visit their FB page for more info. They’re located at Unit D, 2nd Floor, The Forum Bldg., Archbishop Reyes Ave., Cebu City, and is open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

My son’s favorite had to be Coffee Prince. This one is far bigger than Tiala, and it goes on 2 stories. We love its very cozy ambient, the (very!) large smoothies, plus I could easily work on my laptop while having him at sight. Very convenient! They have a decent menu; sandwiches, waffles and even pastas. If you are looking for a quiet place to work or a nice venue for a fun date, you will surely find it here in Coffee Prince. As the date goes on, you can also padlock your love on one of the big hearts of the café.

Coffee Prince is located at 0246 Capitol Site (across Cebu Doctors’ Hospital) and open from 7:00 AM to 3:00 AM daily. Their contact number is 416-1960. They also accept reservations, and for more info, you may visit their official FB page.

Here are some cute pictures taken in these two royal cafes:
