Food Strip in SRP. The Newest Food Center that Offers a Wide Variety.

It’s a Sunday, the best day for going on a food trip! Can’t decide what you want to eat? There’s a new place that offers many different choices that you’re bound to find something you like!

“Gutom ka? (Are you hungry?)” A very direct-to-the-point yet welcoming question, suggesting the presence of food. It’s posted on a sign that you’ll see on your left when travelling along the South Road Properties going south. That sign also means you’ve found Food Strip.

Food Strip separates itself from other strips of food stalls by making sure they have a wide variety to offer customers. They have the local favorites like barbecue, pork belly and liempo if you want something more familiar. Craving for seafood? The specialty of one stall is fish and  they serve dishes like panga (jaw of the tuna), grilled blue marlin and kinilaw na tangigue (raw fish served in citrus juices). Want to spice up dinner? Mongolian kebabs are a great choice. Feeling saucy? They sell carbonara and other different kinds of pasta, too. Looking for something a bit more exotic? Buntog or roasted quail is the more adventurous version to lechon manok (roasted chicken). What’s a nice outdoor meal without cold drinks and dessert? Choose from fruit shakes to milk shakes and even halo-halo.

On Sunday to Thursday, the Food Strip is open from 11:00 AM-10:00 PM. On Friday and Saturdays, 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM because on Friday and Saturday nights, they have live bands. Can you imagine yourself eating outdoors under the stars with good music, good food and even better company? It’s nothing fancy but that actually adds to its appeal. But the Food Strip is still a great place to go during other days as the variety of delicious food that won’t break your budget is enough of a reason to go. Parking won’t be a problem with the spacious area they have so bring family and even friends!
