In 1974, Rosario Lim opened the first Salon de Rose at the Magellan International Hotel seeing the dire need of a good quality salon in Cebu. Forty years after, there’s now more than 20 branches of Salon de Rose across the country. To commemorate the business’ humble beginnings, an event “Salon De Rose Fabulous at 40” was organized last November 28. One of the highlights of the event was the Fashion Show featuring Danny Katalbas’ creations where models with extravagant hairstyles walked in the ramp.
Salon de Rose’s Fabulous Women at 40 namely: Ms. Halei Marmol, Ms. Haide Acuna, Ms. Iris Castillo and Ms. Merce Abellana also flaunted their hairstyles with their Salon de Rose stylists.
