As I was entering Parkmall yesterday, I immediately noticed the happy mood of the mall. It’s totally different from the last time I went there which was during the 36-Hour Non Stop Sale.
Was it just the dynamic voice of the woman giving directions to about one hundred zumba participants? Partly.
But straight ahead, in Parkmall’s Piazza, the gigantic Christmas tree surrounded by big and colorful lollipop figures, the lights everywhere, and the candy canes in one side helped me make the conclusion. “That’s it. It’s Candy Christmas in Parkmall.”
At 6:00 PM, a short program was organized before the lighting of the Christmas tree. Kids were invited to witness the annual event and they were given gifts during the program. A choir also serenaded Parkmall’s guests.
This year, Parkmall aims to create a Christmas Candy Park for families and kids to visit and bond. This is evident in their catchphrase ‘Christmas Is a Walk in Parkmall.’
So, I decided to walk around and check out the Candy Park myself. Parkmall didn’t disappoint me. I found kids playing and friends enjoying the night near the grassy area. There were also a lot of people taking pictures with the Christmas tree. It truly is a park.
