From its establishment in 2003, Y4iT has gained a large following among IT students and practitioners. It has “become the most anticipated IT event in the country.” In fact, the Y4iT Congress held last September 10 to September 15, 2012, set a new record with approximately 29,000 participants from various colleges and universities nationwide. The conference held last year at the University of the Philippines in Diliman gathered around 26,000 delegates.

According to their Web site, “Y4iT Cebu will continue to serve as a meeting place for the best minds in IT, while giving participants a rare chance to know the latest IT breakthroughs, establish a network of contacts, and see how the field looks like. With a number of who’s who in the IT industry present, along with national leaders and educators, the event is sure to give participants an experience like no other.”
