Edwin McCain is an American singer and songwriter who became popular for his song “I’ll Be.” Although the albums were released under his name, he has a permanent band called the Edwin McCain Band. The members of the band are Larry Chaney on guitar, Pete Riley on guitar and vocals, Craig Shields on keyboards, saxophone and other wind instruments, Jason Pomar on bass guitar and vocals, and Tez Sherrard on drums and percussion.
McCain also released the songs “I Could Not Ask for More,” “Walk with You,” “Beautiful Life,” and “Write Me a Song.” “I’ll Be,” which was his biggest hit, was released in 1998, from the album Misguided Roses. It peaked at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks.
Taylor Dayne, on the other hand, is an American pop singer, songwriter, and dance artist who rose to stardom in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Her song entitled “Love Will Lead You Back,” which was released in 1990, reached the number 1 spot on both the U.S. Billboard and U.S. Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks.
Eighteen of her hit tracks, including her 2008 song “Beautiful” and 2011 song “Floor on Fire” reached the top ten in Billboard Magazine. She was also able to top the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart three times. Her timeless songs include “I’ll Always Love You,” “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love,” “Prove Your Love,” and “Tell It to My Heart.”
James Ingram (’80s)
Fans of ’80s songs will be happy to know that soul singer James Ingram will also be here this February. Presented by That’s Ntertainment Productions and in cooperation with ABS-CBN, Ingram will be serenading Cebuanos on February 18, 2012, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. As a special treat to his fans, he will be joined by Lea Salonga who will be performing as his special guest.

James Ingram is a self-taught musician who can play guitar, bass, piano, and drums. This producer- songwriter is a Grammy award winner for “Just Once” and “One Hundred Ways.” In 1987, he worked with American singer Linda Ronstadt for the song “Somewhere Out There,” the theme song of the animated feature film “An American Tail.” He also worked with other remarkable R&B artists like Natalie Cole, Anita Baker, Ray Charles, Viktor Lazlo, Nancy Wilson, and Kenny Rogers.
Engelbert Humperdinck (’60s and ’70s)

Engelbert Humperdinck, whose real name is Arnold George Dorsey, is a British pop singer. He rose to popularity in the ’60s when he teamed up with Gordon Mills, the man who suggested the name change.
“Release Me,” which was believed to have sold 85,000 copies per day during the height of its popularity, is his best known song. It spent 56 weeks in the Top 50 in the United Kingdom in a single chart run. Other famous hits include “Quando, Quando, Quando,” “There Goes My Everything,” “There’s a Kind of Hush,” “The Way It Used to Be,” and “The Last Waltz” (also known as “The Last Waltz with You”).
