On May 26, 2012, take part in one of the biggest outdoor dance party ever to hit the nation – LifeDance 2012.

The stage is set for the San Mig Light Party All Night (www.sanmiglight.com.ph) with Lifedance 2012 event as brought to you by San Mig Light, Legwork Paradiso Productions, Multimedia Exponents, Inc., and SunStar Cebu, in cooperation with Y101 FM Cebu, Istorya.net (the event’s official online media partner), The Loft and The Penthouse.

The 15-hour event features Belgian-born producer/mixer brothers Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike from Smash The House (www.soundcloud.com/dimitrivegasandlikemike, www.facebook.com/dimitrivegasandlikemike).  A number of the country’s finest DJs will also be joining the party, including Juan Pablo of J Ave, Sonson of Hybrid, Rolly & Boyet of Club Pump, Alchology and The Penthouse, Bong Durano, War of The Penthouse, Manila’s Sexiest DJ Nina, X-Factor, Martin Pulgar, and Funk Avy.

Expect amazing live performances from Flow Arts Cebu (Poi and Fire Dance Performers), Lupon Anduyo on percussions, Ira Cruz (lead guitarist of Hijo) on live guitar, Kat Agarrado (vocalist of Sinosikat) on vocals, and Benny Besa of NUVO and J Ave.

Taking inspiration from dance events held worldwide every year, LifeDance 2012 is patterned after celebrations such as the Netherlands’ Sensation,  Belgium’ TomorrowLand and Singapore’s Zouk Out. The upcoming dance party on May 26, is Cebu’s unique take on these international parties. LifeDance aims to treat guests to an entertainment extravaganza with state-of-the-art lighting effects and pyrotechnics to complement an amazing line-up of performances.

The event is for the benefit of ICanServe Foundation Inc. (Breast Cancer Advocacy) through the Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente.

LifeDance 2012 will be the first-ever event to be staged on The Boardwalk Complex since its construction. Located along Zuellig Avenue at the North Reclamation Area, 14-hectare structure will be opened exclusively for the event. The complex is accessible from all directions considering its location on the 118-hectare Mandaue reclamation project. Its towering structure, which is visible from Ouano Avenue, is adjacent to Cebu Doctor’s University, the Singapore School Cebu and Cebu’s newly-opened warehouse-type shopping center S & R.

The Boardwalk Complex boasts of a secure and well-lighted facility. It has ample parking space, spacious party grounds, and roomy cubicles turned into VIP lounges. It has an attractive boardwalk that provides a lovely view of the Mactan Channel. The complex, which can accommodate as many as 7,000 partygoers, will be divided into three (3) sections; specifically the sections are the General Admission area, the VIP area and the VVIP area.

A sufficient number of security and safety personnel, parking attendants, cleaning attendants for the toilets, emergency support (land, water and air), and Food & Beverage/Dining provisions will be provided by the event’s producers.

Preparations are in full swing and ticket-selling period has begun. According to the producers, the selling periods are divided into three (3) phases. Tickets were initially sold during the Lifedance Price-Off Party, which was held at The Walk at the I.T. Park on April 28, 2012. During that one night only engagement, LifeDance organizers offered the lowest cover charge, with up to 70% discounts on both Regular and VIP cover charges. The countdown to the initial sale started at 6 p.m. and was hosted by DJ Mia of Magic 89.9 Manila. Ticket selling began at 8 p.m., with the Regular Cover Charge costing only Php300 and the VIP Cover Charge amounting to only Php700. A party commenced afterwards with musical entertainment provided by DJs Distraction, Marvin Evangelista and Jenn Rimaz.

From May 2 to May 25, interested attendees can avail of the Early Bird Special at designated ticket outlets. Regular Cover Charge will cost Php500 and VIP Cover Charge will cost Php1,000 during this period.

On May 26, onsite cover charges will apply.  Guests can purchase their tickets at The Boardwalk Complex Gates. Regular Cover Charge is at Php1,000 and VIP Cover Charge is at Php2,000.

What do these charges include? For the Regular Cover Charge, guests can stay at the General Admission area (Free Standing) and get two (2) bottles of San Mig Light. The VIP Cover Charge includes admission and exclusive access to the VIP area, access to the General Admission area, and three (3) bottles of San Mig Light.

LifeDance 2012 is also presented by Zalora Philippines, Alcordo Advertising, 93rd & 1st Resto Bar Lounge, and brought to you in part by RCTV Channel 36 and Mooon Café.
