Happy Halloween, guys! Do you already have costumes for tonight's party? Or, are you even ready to attend the bunch of Halloween events happening this weekend? Well, fret not for we give you quick and easy Halloween costume ideas that you can come up with in a matter of minutes. 😉
Annabelle the Improvised Version
I wanted to look like Annabelle the haunted doll for our Halloween Costume Contest today at the office, but since I don't have a dress as white and long and formal as that from the movie, I decided to use one of my Japanese-themed dresses. Yes, it looks far from the Hollywood's Annabelle, but at least it looks kinda dreamy and pseudo-fantasy because of its I'm-about-to-sleep or fresh-from-bed feel. Anyway, kidding aside, you can always make use of your old white stockings to complete this look. And, don't forget to style your hair the way Annabelle does and put on similar make-up. For this simple look, I used brown eye shadow and applied it around my eyes (using my finger), put on dark red lipstick and outlined my lips with black eyeliner, applied red blush-on (on a circular motion) on my cheeks and smeared some eyeliner on them. But of course, your make-up base should be something white. In this case, I used white eye shadow. Pardon me for the minimal lights that made my face in the photo look less white and creepy.
This is as easy as putting white powder on your face and drawing lines that represent skin stitches. My friend simply used a black eyeliner to make this manly Halloween look possible. He also wore a plain black shirt to accentuate the look and coincide with the dark horror theme.
The Formal Corpse
This is another eyeliner masterpiece. Simply draw lines on your forehead and lips as well as apply black/brown eye shadow around the face to come up with this look. Finish the dramatic eyes with a black eyeliner and brown eye shadow underneath. If you want to achieve a scarier look, go for the skeleton make-up taught in this video.
All you need is a red, body-hugging dress and red heels. Do put on red horns and bring along a devil prop like the one used in the photo to complete the whole raised-from-hell look. Also, wear some black nail polish and red lipstick for a sexy, bitchy finish. The model here added a bunch of eyes on her face for an extra scary effect. They're drawn through black and white face paint, by the way.
Murdered White Lady Back for Vengeance
You can come out as the winner of your Halloween Costume Contest if you arrive at the party wearing a bloody white dress. The lady in the picture used a purplish strawberry food coloring to make her face look like there's fresh blood dripping. She used the same ink to dirty her "murdered" clothing; red is the perfect color actually, but this shade's a cool alternative if the stores have ran out of red food coloring (like what happened to my friend here). To achieve the stab-on-the-chest effect, you may follow this tutorial.
Oh, and be sure to wear your long hair down to be a full-pledged white lady.
The witch costume is one of the easiest and fastest and most popular costume ideas every Halloween. Why? Because all you need to wear is black! Black dress, black hat, black shoes, black stockings, black nail polish, and black make-up. Don't forget to bring that broom, and you're ready to project like a real-life witch.
If all else fails, you'll never go wrong with a few props. (evil grin)
