On November 26, 2011, bloggers all over the Philippines will once again convene for the largest social media and blogging summit in the country. The second Visayas Blogging Summit will be held at SM City Cebu, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is expected to draw as many as 300 bloggers nationwide.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Blogging and Beyond,” highlighting the value of blogging in community development. It also aims to encourage community participation. The topics for discussion include personal and professional blogging, social media marketing and social media responsibility.

The event is organized by the Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. (CBSi), which is a blogging organization registered in Securities and Exchange Commission. SM City Cebu and Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.
