A spa treatment is a very therapeutic option for bonding with family and friends. Now, another venue has opened to provide a new form of foot spa service. The Cebu Fish Spa has employed hundreds of Authentic Garra Rufa to give guests the relaxing feeling of dead skin exfoliation and skin cell rejuvenation.
Keith Coyoca, the CEO of Cebu Fish Spa, told the press that the Coyoca family is very much involved in the operations of the business. Serving as Operations Manager is their father while their mom acts as the Financial Manager. His brother, Kirk does marketing responsibilities and his sister, Kareen, is the proprietor. Karmiel, also a sister of Keith, is the financier. Their aunt, Ada Marie, provides accounting services.
The spa officially opened in May 2011. It boasts of their Authentic Garra Rufa, also known as nibble fish or doctor fish, which are imported from Malaysia. The fish were originally bred in outdoor pools of Turkish spas. These types of fish consume dead skin cells and secrete enzymes that allow new skin to regenerate.
So instead of the harsh exfoliating scrubs, give these nibblers a try and enjoy the tingling sensation of natural treatment. A 30-minute session costs Php170. Plus, loyal patrons can avail of their frequent customer card.
The Cebu Fish Spa is located at the Forum Building, directly beside the Grand Convention Center, along Archbishop Reyes Avenue in Lahug, Cebu City. They are open daily, with these schedules:
Mondays to Fridays 12 noon to 10 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
