Social Media Manager
General Job Description:
Act as company ambassador/ evangelist. Develop and implement company's social media marketing which includes content strategy, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and cultivate leads and sales. The Social Media manager is a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for designing and implementing the Company’s content strategy, creating relevant content, blogging, community participation and leadership. Responsible for writing and publishing Web content; maintaining and updating Web pages/blogs; monitoring and responding to user contributed website content; and participating in social media efforts for the company.
- Proficient in content marketing theory and application with experience in sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
- Contributes and updates the company's social sites like Facebook and Twitter
- Works with Developers/ IT Staff to assess any technical challenges in displaying the content
- Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns
- Moderates content as it is contributed to the website by external sources
- Helps plan and implement social marketing campaigns for specific marketing goals
- Monitors social media outlets and responds on topics related to company/ industry
- Keeps up to date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design and business industry trends
- Coordinate content creation and publishing of company newsletter (internal or external)
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills
- Experience in writing for the Web content management and internet research
- Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing
- Experience with HTML, CSS and working with Content Management Content (CMS)
