This is a once-in-a-lifetime job role that has arisen from the ongoing success of an eCommerce education community.
You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a busy & vibrant online forum for small to medium-sized eCommerce business owners from all over the world.
You'll be replying to community forum questions where possible and escalate any questions / queries you can’t directly handle. A “go-get”, “can-do” attitude is needed as the questions can be very broad at times. Each day you’ll report back to the directors any topics raised that need their attention, make suggestions on new tutorials as needed and suggest new ways of involving the community.
While it would be highly desirable that you have an understanding of Magento, WordPress, eBay, PayPal, Amazon and a good founding in eCommerce, we are willing to make an exception for the right candidate and can & will provide continuous training materials and support.
Your written English is amazing and have a working understanding of the differences between UK and US English (eg what “pants” means in these two countries).

Join the team for a daily “SCRUM” meetings via Skype
Make suggestions on new tutorials
Compile a weekly summary of activities on the community forums
Liaise with the team on any technical queries that have been raised.
Provide first line support via our community forums
Desired Experience / Skills
Have a go-get, can-do attitude
Outstanding analytical & fault-finding skills
Working knowledge of eBay, PayPal, Amazon, WooCommerce, Magento & eCommerce
Basic knowledge of creating & editing HTML & CSS
Hold a bachelor's degree and/or at least 4 years experience in a similar role
Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
About the Company
You’ll be joining a UK based business run by a serial entrepreneur. The company that you’ll be supporting has been running for over two years and has over seven thousand users.
The company provides online tutorials for eCommerce business owners and you’ll be joining an existing Phillipines based team. Integrity, honesty and dedication is strongly valued hence why we’re specifically looking for additional another Filipino to join the team.
This is a full-time job role and with the working day starting at 13:00 Manila time for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Sometimes you may be required to start earlier or work later depending on release schedules.
The salary for this role is negotiable based upon your experience and we are specifically looking for a person who is willing to work with us for +2 years and yes the 13th month is included in addition to your base salary.
Older/more experienced candidates are prefered. Your remuneration will depend on experience and skill set, but will be highly competitive for the right person, we want quality!
