The Supply Management Head/Manager shall manage all programs relating to among Purchasing, Logistics and Warehousing activities such as inventory level of raw materials, purchasing of supplies, inventory planning and control and deliveries directed towards continuous availability of finished goods and raw materials supply with ultimate objective of increasing efficiency and company's productivity and for total customers' satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-attends the regular, periodic or special meeting of the Chairman, President and Vice-President;
-conducts a periodic or special meeting with all Section Heads;
-follows-up the weekly plans and reports of the Purchasing Officer, Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Officer;
-collects/checks/reviews the weekly plans of the Purchasing Officer, Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Officer such as the weekly purchasing schedule, weekly purchase order and the weekly delivery schedule;
-analyzes the weekly plans and prepares comments and suggestions if there are any, coordinate with the section concerned;
-collects/checks/reviews the weekly reports of the Purchasing Officer, Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Officer such as the weekly summary of purchase orders, weekly summary of inventory report, weekly summary of production articles (PA) received and weekly summary of deliveries;
-analyzes the weekly reports and if there are any suggestions and comments corrdinate the section concerned;
-ensures that all section heads and concerned personnel maintains the highest discipline imposed by the company at all times and abide by the company rules and regulations;
-visits periodically all the sections of the Supply Management Department for the implementation of 5S in Good Housekeeping;
-develops/recommends and improve management systems and procedures for all the section of Supply Management Department geared towards effective and efficient operations;
-forwards any proposal to Chairman, President and VP for approval;
performs other related tasks as may be assiged by the superiors.
-BS Industrial Engineering graduate or any related course;
-must have at least 5 years work experience in Materials Management;
-capable of preparing comprehensive technical evaluation and project reports;
-must have excellent analytical capability and high proficiency in mathematics and good managerial skills;
-must be fluent in both oral and written in Cebuano and English communication;
-must be computer literate;
-must be God fearing, honest, hardworking, creative, imaginative and resourceful.
