This is a once-in-a-lifetime job role that has arisen from the ongoing success of an eCommerce education community.
You’ll be responsible for assisting our online community manager with any technical questions that arise on a daily basis from our vibrant online forum for small to medium-sized eCommerce business owners from all over the world.
This is a diverse role and you’ll need working knowledge of the following:
WordPress & WooCommerce
You’ll have a good founding in eCommerce and also if you have knowledge of M2EPro, Magmi, eBay, PayPal and/or Amazon this would highly advantageous.
You'll be replying to community forum questions where possible and escalate any questions / queries you can’t directly handle. A “go-get”, “can-do” attitude is needed as the questions can be very broad at times. Each day you’ll report back to the directors any topics raised that need their attention, make suggestions on new tutorials as needed and suggest new ways of involving the community.
Your written English is amazing and have a working understanding of the differences between UK and US English (eg what “pants” means in these two countries). Also you’ll be able to convey sometimes complex answers in “plain english”, to allow users to implement any changes or code suggested.

Make suggestions on new tutorials
Liaise with the team on any technical queries that have been raised that you’re unable to answer or resolve directly
Provide first line technical support via our community forums
Desired Experience / Skills
Have a go-get, can-do attitude
Outstanding analytical & fault-finding skills
Working knowledge of eBay, PayPal, Amazon, WooCommerce, Magento & eCommerce
Excellent knowledge of creating & editing HTML & CSS
A working knowledge of Magento, WordPress & WooCommerce
Knowledge of M2E Pro, Magmi, eBay, PayPal and/or Amazon is highly desirable
Hold a bachelor's degree and/or at least 4 years experience in a similar role
Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
About the Company
You’ll be joining a UK based business run by a serial entrepreneur. The company that you’ll be supporting has been running for over two years and has over seven thousand users.
The company provides online tutorials for eCommerce business owners and you’ll be joining an existing Phillipines based team. Integrity, honesty and dedication is strongly valued hence why we’re specifically looking for an additional Filipino to join the team.
This is a full-time job role and with the working day starting at 13:00 Manila time for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Sometimes you may be required to start earlier or work later depending on release schedules.
The salary for this role is negotiable based upon your experience and we are specifically looking for a person who is willing to work with us for +2 years and yes the 13th month is included in addition to your base salary.
Older/more experienced candidates are prefered. Your remuneration will depend on experience and skill set, but will be highly competitive for the right person, we want quality!
