Located in the quaint part of Guadalupe is a concept restaurant that features a theme of perfect harmony. From the good food to the homey ambiance and the superb customer service, Butch Guillen’s Tara’s Café and Restaurant is indeed a must-visit.

The restaurant offers a variety of cuisines, mostly comprised of Filipino dishes. The restaurant has à la carte meals that you can choose from. One of their most delightful dishes is the Baby Back Ribs, which is priced at an affordable Php175. Other favorites such as the Kare-Kare, Caldereta, Boneless Crispy Pata, Pochero Steak, and Sisig Sizzler are available. They also serve seafood dishes such as the Seafood Pasta, Seafood Hotpot, and the Sizzling Squid. Salad and pasta dishes are also available. Their Mambo #5, which is a five-fruit combination drink, is also a must-try.

They also host lunch and dinner buffets worth Php250 per person, inclusive of bottomless iced tea. Tara’s Café at Asiatown I.T. Park, Lahug, offers a breakfast buffet for Php150. The meal consists of five main courses, the soup for the day, desert, and unlimited iced tea and coffee. The buffet is from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The restaurant in Guadalupe boasts of a spacious place, with a book and magazine section for guests who enjoy reading while dining and a kid’s corner where couples can let their kids enjoy on their own. It also has a boardroom, which can be used for business-related functions. Several organizations, including the Lions Club, Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas, and the Philippine Pediatric Society, have been using the boardroom as a venue for their events. Up to 25 people can be comfortably accommodated in the boardroom.

Tara’s Café is also a great place to enjoy refreshing coffee concoctions. Among the preferred choices are the Mudslide, Black Forest and the Espresso Macchiato.

   Nice, i have a thing for baby back ribs. If I come back again to Cebu I’ll try that out.

   Rack’s and Bigby’s have superb baby back ribs. Not to mention Kenny Rogers. They’ve included this in there menu.

   One of the best resto that i always go is Tara’s Cafe & Restaurant. Primarily because they have excellent food, secondly, the service is superb. I always felt like i am at home with the friendly waiters, homey & cozy ambiance and a lot of concoctions to choose to. I also enjoy their lunch & dinner buffet at 249 only inclusive salad, barbeque, appetizers, soap, main courses & desserts plus bottomless iced tea. Foods are always fresh & new. For me it is a perfect dining everytime i spent time hanging out at tara’s.

   I tried at Tara’s Cafe a lot of times because we live at guadalupe area and i would say the food is superb. It offers a wide variety of international foods that will best suit to your taste buds from filipino such as our fav baby back ribs to mexican like quesadillas, but most of all the ambiance and service is beyond compare…homey and quite. If you are in a rush, they are offering lunch and dinner buffet also at P249 only inclusive of drinks with wide selection of salad, appetizers, main course, barbeques and desserts. Mind you, its not the usual recycled buffet foods that we always observed at different buffet resto but theirs, like always fresh and new cook. Try and you will know…i bit.
