Do you have an insatiable appetite for Japanese food? If so, then JOED’s Lutong Hapon should be your next chow destination. Not only do they serve authentic Japanese dishes, they also come at very affordable prices. Truly, JOED’s Lutong Hapon continues to imprint a good reputation among locals and tourists alike, who have genuine fondness for authentic Japanese food.

Dating back to 2009, optimistic owners Joan and Edgar introduced their signature Beef Gyudon and Sukiyakidon dishes at JOED’s first mini restaurant (“carinderia”) in Mabolo. Much to their delight, these dishes clicked well with the people, especially by the Japanese bento fanatics. With success underway, they pushed forth on bringing this fresh and unique tradition to the Cebuano community.

JOED’s variety of Japanese dishes became a steady hit more than ever to sushi-craving gastronomes. With its menu based on pure fresh ingredients that are procured abroad, customers are surely never to miss the taste of authentic Japanese cuisine. Plus, the affordable prices of their delectable Japanese dishes all the more make their place as inviting as ever.

JOED’s offers an array of Japanese dishes, which cater not just to the Japanese taste but to the Filipino tongue as well. Among the popular rice bowls are Chicken Teriyaki, Katsudon/Karegadon, Beef Gyudon, and Unagi Egg Rice Bowl. Of course, their California Crunchy Maki Roll and Crab Salmon Strawberry Maki Roll are a must-taste specialty in the house.
