Handuraw is a pizza and events café, which originates from Cebu. In Cebuano, the name of this popular pizza place translates to “the power to imagine.” Indeed, the café was founded out of the desire to create a venue where everyone can gather and have a good time.

Handuraw Pizza plays an active role in the promotion of local music. It serves as a haven for Cebu-based bands and helps strengthen the local band community. Apart from being the charming “tambayan,” it now revels with the distinction of being the home of the “greatest-tasting thin crust pizza” in the city.

The establishment, which is owned and managed by Kasidlakan Incorporated, opened in July 2004. It was primarily a venue to hang out and bond over great food, while being surrounded by art and music.

Handuraw offers an assortment of lip smacking thin crust pizzas that range from basic to adventurous choices. The Handuraw Special, which is a must-try, is a thin crust pizza that contains an abundance of toppings, including slices of pepperoni, chunks of Italian sausage, ham and bacon bits, button mushrooms, onions, olives, and fresh tomatoes. Other classic pizza variants include Meatlovers, Hawaiian, Bacon and Mushroom, Pepperoni, and Cheesy Cheese. Apart from the Vegetarian classic pizza, those who prefer meatless pizza varieties can go for the Simply Basic pizza options, which include Margherita and Roasted Garlic and Cheese.

For the adventurous, they can try the Anchovy Lovey. It is a thin crust pizza liberally topped with shredded anchovies fillet, olives, mozzarella cheese, and made more special with Handuraw’s homemade pesto oil. Pizza Cebuana is a mildly spiced pizza variant, which is generously topped with Chorizo de Cebu and two cheeses, specifically mozzarella cheese and kesong puti. The American Roast is a pizza variety that contains roast beef toppings with homemade honey mustard sauce and a hearty mix of button mushrooms, lettuce, green bell peppers, and onions. Other adventurous options include Mexicana Pizza, German Sausage and Seafood Delight.

The menu also includes pica-picas, soups, salads, sandwiches, meals, and rice bowls. Non-pizza favorites include Sizzling Pork Steak, Fish and Shrimp Butterfly, and Happy Rooster Chili Wings. Pasta favorites include the All-meat Bolognese and the Seafood Marinara.
