If you are looking for a new type of place to chill, Coffeecat is the ideal place for you. It is an inviting and modern coffee shop located at the eBloc (JP Morgan Chase Building) in Asiatown I.T. Park, Cebu City. A coffee shop originating from Davao, Coffeecat opened its Cebu branch in July 2010.

The name Coffeecat “is the product of an intriguing play of words coupled with a serendipitous association to a cat-sized mammal called a civet cat, which has a close affinity towards coffee berries.” The Coffecat concept is a combination of three interesting things: (1) the Filipinos’ tradition of taking a break from their busy lives to relax with the company of family or friends, (2) Italian coffee culture, and (3) the influence of North American pastry tradition.

Aside from providing refreshing drinks and delicious food, this café is a great spot with a warm and cozy atmosphere, allowing customers to have great conversations while eating. It mixes comfort with contemporary, industrial and minimalist elements.

They have a wide array of coffee products that are made from premium illy, an Italian coffee brand that uses nine types of pure Arabica beans. Choose from Coffeecat’s hot and cold Espresso, Espresso Macchiato, Espresso Con Panna, Caffe Americano, Cappuccino, Caffe Latte, Caramel Latte, Caffe Mocha, White Chocolate Mocha, Taro Latte, and Sea Salt Coffee.

The Yin Yeung Milk Tea, which is a combination of different types of black tea mixed with dehydrated milk, promises a sensation of wellness and harmony from within.

Are you bored with your usual cup of coffee or tea? Coffeecat’s version of blended drinks called Avalanche is a must-try especially if the weather is too hot. Avalanche is available in several variations. For coffee drinkers, try the Coffee Jelly Avalanche, Caramel Avalanche, Mocha Avalanche, Mocha Chip, Avalanche, and White Chocolate Mocha Avalanche. Tea aficionados may go for Green Tea Avalanche, Mango Tea Avalanche or Chai Tea Avalanche. Other variants are the Vanilla Avalanche, Strawberry Crème Avalanche, Berry Infusion Avalanche, and Double Chocolate Avalanche.

They also serve yogurt smoothies that come in Tarty Mango, Strawberry Swing, Original Tart, and Green Tea flavors. The sweetness of all Coffeecat drinks can be adjusted to the customers’ preference. You may request for full (100%), less (75%), half (75%), quarter (25%), or no (0%) sugar.

Coffeecat also boasts of their famous signature YOGO Premium Frozen Yogurt. Unlike ice cream, YOGO is made of pure organic yogurt, which means it is fat-free, high in calcium and protein, and low in calories. It has live and active probiotic cultures that promote healthy digestion. It is available in small, medium, large, and pint sizes.
