Are you up for some exotic entertainment? While beach hopping in Cebu, head over to Bagumbayan, Maribago, and proceed to The Jungle Restaurant and Entertainment Center where a truly Filipino experience awaits every guest, foreign and local alike.
The restaurant’s courteous staff showers visitors with a warm welcome accompanied by the balmy ambiance that exudes from all the native Filipino decorations that adorns the entire locality. An array of jungle-inspired paintings and coconut tree columns elaborate the Jungle theme. The building seats as many as 150 persons and guests will have no parking troubles as this has been well-provided for by the establishment’s owners. The parking area can accommodate several buses and cars. A taxi lane for taxi service is also available for the restaurant’s customers.
The restaurant serves both Native Filipino and International cuisines. There are buffet and ala carte options. The buffet, which is suggested for large groups, serves Native Filipino food in native Filipino style. Meals are served using clay pots, wooden serving spoons, and native basket plates with banana leaf. The ala carte menu also offers customers a large variety of food choices, including budget-friendly combo meals. The restaurant also has a full bar, where they offer an abundant flow of alcoholic liquors and non-alcoholic beverages.
The Jungle Restaurant is most known for the entertainment they provide their customers. They have Filipino cultural dances and a variety of international dances. The local dances include Subli, Tinikling, Sayaw sa Banga, and Sinulog. Aside from the well-applauded dances, the restaurant also showcases some special performances including an Arnis exhibition and dances with live pythons.
On top of all these, the Jungle Fire Dancers are the restaurant’s nightly main attraction. These performers eat and breathe fire for starters. If that doesn’t make you drop your jaws, wait till they spin balls of fire and twirl rods of fire. Indeed, the performance itself is worth the P150/per person entrance fee.
The Jungle Restaurant and Entertainment Center is open daily, from 12:00 noon until 12:00 midnight.
