Pearl Meat Shop and Beef strips

It was an adventure for me to try Korean food for the first time. I am familiar with kimchi from koreanovelas but I didn’t really know what it tastes like until a friend introduced us to Pearl Meatshop and Restaurant in Mabolo.

When we got there, the staff of Pearl Meatshop was very accommodating. Because it’s almost 2 in the afternoon, there were no other customers, which was a good thing for us.

Now, what I really like about the place, aside from the name, is the setup. In the Mabolo branch, you can squat on the floor or sit in regular chairs.

So, let’s proceed to the food. The food was great although the servings are not for a lot of people. There were three of us so it was an ideal number.

If you’re already convinced to visit Pearl Meatshop, here are some food in their menu that we recommend you order:

All these and other food from their menu are priced P180 and up each.

Here’s a good news for those interested to visit the Korean restaurant. Pearl Meatshop now has a new branch at The Strip, Cebu Provincial Capito Site. It’s across Jolibee and beside Ice Giants.

Location: AS Fortuna, Mandaue and The Strip, Capitol site.
