Since the owners believe that most of their customers in Ayala (which is where the main restaurant branch is located) come from Mandaue, they decided the outdoor space of the newer and better Parkmall is a great spot for a branch. Last October 08, 2014, Kublai Khan invited Everything Cebu for their opening and eat-all-you-can buffet, and we had a chance to interview the young operation managers of this famous Mongolian restaurant.
For those of you who don’t know the resto’s history yet, Kublai Khan was started by Amuse Foods Inc. 15 years ago. The first-ever store opened at Country Mall, while the second branch opened in Ayala Mall in the same year (1999). At present, Kublai Khan’s main branch can be found in Ayala Terraces. For many years, this Mongolian restaurant has been providing Cebuanos a unique all-you-can-eat experience. Jiggy Cañizares, one of the owners, even stated that he’s confident Kublai Khan doesn’t have any strong competitors in Cebu, thanks to its unique way of letting customers mix their own ingredients in a bowl.
Here is the restaurant’s tasty menu:
A big bowl for the true Mongol warrior who chooses to eat all and as much as he can.
A one time fill meal, big enough for a hungry warrior.
A meal for the tired warrior who does not want to bother with going through the buffet but instead choose ingredients from a check list for a tasty treat.

The restaurant’s Parkmall opening was attended by different people from the media as well as some of Cebu’s most influential figures. As usual, they served their tasty Mongolian buffet for everyone to enjoy! But before the sumptuous lunch, which they called “Feast All You Khan”, a store blessing, a ribbon cutting, and a media exposure took place in the morning.
