Comfort food with hints of an East Asian influence can be found at a self-proclaimed food village that goes by the name of PH Foodville, in Camputhaw, Cebu City. The food is not just comforting; it’s also quite hearty and reasonably priced. If you want a party or function catered or packed meals delivered to spare you all the bother of cooking, Foodville does that too.
A few of the à la carte main courses you can expect from Foodville are chicken teriyaki, pork cutlet, bulgogi, tanguigue steak, and adobong kangkong. You can choose from two kinds of pasta, namely bolognese and carbonara. You could opt for a soup entrée in the form of lomi or sinigang. All main courses come with free side dishes such as bean sprouts, calamares, eggplant mozzarella, pancit canton, sweet corn with cheese, vegetable spring rolls, and vegetable tempura. Diners can choose from a variety of ten possible side dishes to pair with their main course. If you order a lunch special main dish, you can choose from five possible side dishes for free.
Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is a free Wi-Fi zone. In October 2011, Foodville announced the opening of an outlet at the food court of Cebu Doctor’s University, in Mandaue.
