Cafes emerged in Cebu like mushrooms. The homey feel of these hangouts and the different gimmicks each one has to offer enticed many to spend their study out, reunions, free times and whatnot in these modern rendezvous. However, with the numerous cafes in town, what we usually consider during our stay in a cafe is this: Are the meals cheap, healthy and delicious?
Belgian Baker Kris Vermeiren of Brussels Cafe Bistro answers us with a big YES!
HEALTHY. Most of us have developed the belief that healthy food tastes disgusting, well Brussels is yet to prove you wrong. With their authentic Belgian dishes that uses organic ingredients fresh from their farm in Dalaguete Cebu, you don’t have to worry about cholesterol, carbs and calories. You can also be sure that you are eating an insecticide and preservative-free meal in the diner.
CHEAP. With the mention of “authentic Belgium-dishes” we know you thought about how expensive it might be to dine in this restaurant. So, here we will give you an idea. Brussel’s Vanilla Gelato would cost you P50; Chicken fingers for P65; Waffles for P59 and one of their best sellers Booken Poot for P25. Their meals are priced between P100 to P200 while their desserts are priced P100 to P300. Isn’t that budget-friendly?
DELICIOUS. Holding the title as the only restaurant serving authentic Belgian dishes in Cebu, Brussels is also known for its unique flavors. Since Belgium is the culinary capital of Europe, you are assured of the most delicious fries, fresh fruit drinks, coffee and potato snacks. The owner tries to come up with new flavors every now and then. We recommend you try their cakes and pastries!
Brussels can be found in Unit 7, Paseo Arsenas, Banawa and in Green homes, Gov, M Cuenco Ave, Corner Sitio Baca, Apas, Cebu City (along Country Mall).
