In 1968, Paul Keiner built Chateau de Busay as a home for his family of five. In 1983, the place was acquired by Roland Werro. Mr. Werro is a Swiss cheese maker and a gourmand. Along with his Filipina wife, Emily, they turned the estate into a fine dining restaurant – the Chateau de Busay.
The place is also famous for their excellent continental cuisine. They serve delicious Angus steaks and probably the finest wine in the city. They also have buffet menus that range from Php380 per person to as much as Php480 per person. Apart from the excellent fine dining experience, Chateau de Busay has also earned wide reception for its impressive service and its unique ambiance.
Chateau de Busay can be a venue for simple reunion dinners or vibrant themed parties. The venue has ample accommodations for as many as 400 guests. The establishment has several venues to choose from for your special events. For intimate gatherings of up to 30 persons, the dining area comes highly recommended. The Veranda can seat up to 60 persons, while the Mountain View Garden can accommodate 80 to 100 persons. The venue By the Waterfalls seats as many as 200 persons and the Garden Hall is a spacious hall that seats up to 300 persons. The City View Garden, which is a grand garden that provides a breathtaking view of Cebu City, can accommodate up to 400 persons.
