The first time we checked out Casa Verde, we were confused what to order because everything appears so good. So, we asked for their bestsellers just to see if the reviews were true. We weren’t disappointed.
Translated as “Green house”, Casa Verde has evolved from being just a regular canteen to a restaurant that never runs out of customers. This is not to exaggerate, but it is rare to get a seat immediately for walk-in customers. Thanks to reservations.
The color of the first branch of Casa Verde, which was interestingly an ancestral home in Ramos, inspired the name. On the other hand, some dishes served in Casa Verde were named after members of the family.
Casa Verde’s trademark dishes: Baby Back Ribs or Brian’s ribs and giant burger should be your priority when you dine in the resto. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to taste their burger but seeing the people next to us order one, we couldn’t wait to come back for it.
In 2012, Casa Verde extended its offer of American-style dining to Manileños.
So first time Casa Verde customers, here’s our quick picks for you.
1. Brian’s Rib
Baked pork ribs with a sweet, tangy piquet sauce served with rice and corn and carrots.
Crunchy squid rings paired with specially-made sweet and sour sauce.
3. Watermelon Salad
Salad made of watermelon cubes, served over lettuce, mango strips, jicama and nuts, drizzled with one of a kind sesame-seed dressing.
4. Best Sampler
Golden fried cheese, Potato skins and Buffalo wings served with sides of marinara sauce, sour cream and blue cheese.
5. Mighty Ton
12-inch bun stuffed with american cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sauteed onions and mushrooms and paired with your choice of barbecue, cheese or sour cream fries.
