Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) on N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City, is a 127-bed capacity government hospital. The Department of Health classifies it as a general hospital in the tertiary category, with license number 07-TC-300-183-05-G. It delivers the following major services:

1. medical/dental services
2. ancillary services
3. nursing services
4. administrative services, with satellite emergency hospitals in barangays Guba and Bonbon

Additionally, it has College of Nursing services. The hospital’s mission is to provide an environment promoting ethical, high-quality, and cost-effective services to Cebu City residents, through competent as well as compassionate medical care.

   I was with my sister- in- law which is giving birth at Cebu City Medical Center,i notice that some nurses used offensive words to the patient,they didn’t explain will the instruction and suddenly shout there answers .I can feel that they descrimanate some patient specially they thought that if you were admitted there you belong to the poor section of the society,which is really bad..

   So nurses are not really “the angels in disguise” or did you forgot the Tender Loving Care that you learn from nursing school??!!specially in the OB ward,Delivery Room and Nursery Nurses at Cebu City Medical Center.

   Please,to the nurses in the ward that i mention above you must act well like educated persons…

   we went to cebu city medical centre today for X-RAYS ON OUR 1YR OLD NIECE, with a SUSPECTED FRACTURE of the femur.

   AFTER THE X-RAYS WERE DONE, WE WERE TOLD THEY WOULD take ALMOST A WEEEK TO BE PROCESSSED!

   OUTRAGEOUS!

   SHE HAS A SUSPECTED FRATURED LEG, AND CEBU CITY MEDICAL CENTRE ARE TALKING A WEEEK TO PROCESS 1 X-RAY!
   it should be 20 mins!

   another example of the hospitals not caring about their patients…
