After a five-year touring hiatus from many international markets outside their US home base, the Grammy-nominated pop-rock trio will play additional shows in the Philippines in March 2012, as part of their Shout It Out world tour in support of their well-received fifth studio album Shout It Out.

At the time of the announcement, they were on the European leg of the Shout It Out world tour, which began in Latin America early in November 2011, in conjunction with the digital release of Shout It Out in those markets. The band is intent on fulfilling their pledge to fans to return to many international territories. This is why they announced that they’ll stage concerts in Manila and Cebu in 2012.

On Friday, March 30, 2012, the band will be at Araneta Coliseum in Manila. The next day, March 31, 2012, they will be holding a concert for the Cebuano crowd at the Waterfront Hotel Cebu.

More dates internationally are to be announced. “It’s an amazing thing to have the opportunity to reach people with your music in different parts of the world, and we are really thrilled to finally be able to return to the Philippines with this album and tour,” singer and keyboardist Taylor Hanson said.

Tickets were scheduled to go on sale to the public starting November 29th, 2011. You can check Hanson’s tour page or www.facebook.com/HansonLiveinCebuandManila for further information on this upcoming musical event. (Updated 01/12/2012)
