10 Bands Battle It Out on Reggae Meets Reggae

Ten bands passed the initial screening and will battle it out at the Waterfront Mactan Hotel and Casino on October 16, 2010 (Saturday). Everything Cebu will cover this exciting event.

The winning band will get P5,000.00, the second placer will receive P3,000.00 and the third placer, P2,000.00. Each band is allowed to play three songs: two cover songs and one original composition.

The winners will be determined based on the following criteria:

30% musicality
30% originality
20% stage presence
20% audience impact
100% total

*Gowvy
*Indephums
*Island Souvenir
*Pipeload Militants
*Roots Revival
*Santing Scalawags
*Save Session
*Soul Brothers
*Ultimo

To bring some island reggae music, Skankin’ Brews would also perform during the event.

Support your favorite band and get a chance to win gift certificates for an overnight stay or a trip to the spa in Waterfront Mactan. Each ticket costs P100.00, which entitles you one free mug of beer and a raffle ticket. You may buy your tickets at Monster Radio, Waterfront Lahug (Marketing) and Waterfront Mactan.
