Metro Sports Cebu is a badminton club and sports center open to everybody.

Established in 2002, it is one of the first specialized badminton gyms in Cebu City, which has 18 indoor Taraflex badminton courts. Taraflex is a branded rubberized floor matting required by the International Badminton Federation (IBF) as flooring material to be used for international standard badminton competition courts. This provides greater shock absorption that limits injury to players while in action.

Facilities and Services

There are badminton trainers that beginners can hire. The club’s facilities include separate shower rooms, steam rooms and lockers for both men and women. It also has a fully equipped gym for workouts and boxing exercises, and wall-climbing facility.

The workout gym has several wellness programs for those who want to enroll to either lose weight or simply to stay fit and healthy. Studies show that unlike ordinary stationary bikes, people burn as much as 400 calories after only 45 minutes of intense free spinning workout. Another wellness program is the Knockout Boxercise program.
