Eddie’s Hotel
Eddie’s Hotel, now known as the Beverly Boutique Business Hotel, is a standard- or economy-class hotel in Cebu City that hosts 52 rooms, geared for budget-conscious business travelers and vacationers.
The hotel opened in August 1996, and was established by Eddie Woolbright, an American soldier who came with the American liberation forces in Leyte province in 1944. He decided to stay in the country after the war. He eventually became a successful businessman in Cebu by engaging in the import trading of heavy equipment and water drilling, and in the real estate business.
Facilities and Services
All of the hotel’s guest rooms are equipped with luxurious amenities, such as cable television, bedside light control panels, and efficient 24-hour room service. Eddie’s Hotel has a function room that can seat up to 20 persons and is available for small meetings, seminars, and interviews. It is equipped with audio-visual facilities and conference equipment. In addition, a highly-trained staff of banquet and conference planners will assist you in organizing and implementing your events in the function room.
Eddie’s Hotel’s 24-hour fine dining restaurant, The Beverly Room, offers the best of American and Continental cuisine. The restaurant’s specialties include U.S. Angus steaks, fresh corned beef and baby back ribs.

Eddie’s Hotel is located in F. Manalo Street, Cebu City, which is near the Fuente Osmeña Circle, one of the city’s premier business, commercial and shopping districts. The Fuente Osmeña area is home to the Robinsons Cebu department store, supermarket and food court. The area also has bars, restaurants and fast-food chains, and other commercial and shopping establishments.
The hotel is less than 45 minutes from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Mactan Island and is accessible via taxi and other public transport. From the international airport, take a taxi that will go to General Maxilom Avenue and when you see the big Iglesia ni Kristo Church, turn at its right corner, which is F. Manalo Street and a few meters from its corner is where the hotel is at your left side.
