Citi Park Hotel: Combining Business and Pleasure Uniquely
Even though Cebu City is considered the oldest city in the Philippines, it is also well developed and economically stable while embracing its rich history and culture along with traditional values. One can also observe this fusion of the traditional and the modern in Citi Park Hotel.
Strategically located between two cities, namely Cebu and Mandaue, Citi Park Hotel is a destination where business and pleasure can intersect. You can find this hotel on F. Cabahug Street in Panagdait, Mabolo, across the street from an entry point into the CIE British School. Once you enter the hotel lobby, you might notice that its elegant decor includes some excellent photographs of Sinulog festivities.
Because it is conveniently located, Citi Park Hotel is able to offer its guests the luxury of time. It is about twenty-five minutes from the beach, twenty minutes from the airport, ten minutes from SM City, five minutes from Ayala Center, and a minute’s walk from the nearest grocery.
Accommodations at Citi Park’s 105 guest rooms range from Superior (standard) to the Citi Grand Suite (presidential). Room rates, on a per-day basis, are as follows:
- Superior (single) – Php2,250
- Superior (double) – Php2,500
- Deluxe (twin) – Php3,125
- Deluxe (matrimonial) – Php3,700
- Family Suite – Php5,700
- Citi Grand Suite – Php6,000
For an extra bed (with breakfast), the rate is Php1,200, while for an extra person (with breakfast), it is Php1,000. You could also avail of Citi Park’s weekend promo rates that start at Php2,000 net and are inclusive of buffet breakfast. The delicious buffet breakfast is served at the hotel’s resto bar, Pedro’s, where the aforementioned meal is priced at Php295 net per person, for walk-in diners. The restaurant, with its talented resident chef, serves lunch and dinner à la carte too. The beef kare-kare in particular is recommended.
The amenities provided with Citi Park’s rooms consist of local/international direct-dial phone, wired/Wi-Fi Internet, flat-screen satellite TV, large in-room electronic safe, set for making coffee or tea, writing desk, spacious bathroom, and of course comfortable beds, with duvet finish. Another significant feature of the hotel are its lighting fixtures that make use of LED technology and do not just serve as flattering illumination; they are also energy efficient and Earth friendly.
The hotel’s function room can accommodate 350 people. It is a good venue for business meetings, seminars, debuts, wedding receptions, and other social gatherings. On weekends, a local band plays at Citi Park, so people can listen to live music while they enjoy both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks from the hotel bar.
