The Festival Queen is a search for the Lead Dancer from the contingents participating in the Sinulog 2010 Grand Parade based on exceptional beauty and dancing skills.

The event will be held on January 15, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., at Cebu City Sports Center.

The search criteria gives major credit to the Lead Dancer’s performance and her interpretation of the Sinulog dance. The Festival queen should be able to dance with rhythm and grace accompanied with all artistic considerations.

The Lead Dancer should wear the same costume for the Sinulog Grand Parade and final performance at the Cebu City Sports Center.

The prizes and awards for the Festival Queen are:

Festival Queen – PHP 50,000
1st Runner-Up – PHP 30,000
2nd Runner-Up – PHP 20,000

Other awards will also be given for the most photogenic lead dancer, best production presentation, best costume and best instrumentation. Each winner will receive PHP 5,000.
