How the resort got its name is derived from the Latin word TERRA, which means Earth, and MANNA, which means bread from heaven. The owners, propelled by their advocacy in nature, believe in the innate goodness of every place. They believe that by cultivating and nourishing nature, many gifts of nature will unexpectedly come out. After setting foot at one of the virgin landscapes of Badian, the couple decided it is time to transform the place into a blissful site, thus Terra Manna came into existence. Equipped with the necessary skills in farming, the couple pushed through with their plan in developing the land while maintaining its green abundance and lushness.
Organic Farming at Terra Manna
What makes Terra Manna praiseworthy is their commitment to preserve nature through sustainability efforts. Despite the advancement of technology, Terra Manna has succeeded in promoting an advocacy in organic farming as opposed to commercial farming, which uses pertroleum-based fertilizers. You will find a variety of vegetable plantations, such as carrots, lettuce, pepper, and sweet potatoes. These are agricultural produces that are grown under natural condition on fertile and organic soil. In fact, most of the food components in the dishes that they serve are harvested straight from their farm.
