In celebration of International Women’s Month, JCI-Zugbuana prepares the stage for the grandest fashion event in Cebu.
On Friday, March 12, 2010, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, at the Arctic Hall of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, feast your eyes on the awe-inspiring creations of Cebu’s top designers (Arcy Gayatin, Cary Santiago, Jun Escario, Kate Torralba) and several notable brands (Mango, Orange Juice, What A Girl Wants, Loalde and Topshop). The event will be directed by world-renowned fashion choreographer, Jackie Aquino.
Women for Women is a rare event where Cebu’s best dressed women of all ages gather for one worthy cause. Cebu’s most elegant will walk the ramp to state their support for the movement against child prostitution. The roster of empowered women who will join the show will be led by Cebu’s incumbent governor, Gwen Garcia.
This 2010, JCI Zugbuana is supporting FORGE (Fellowship for Organizing Endeavors), a social development institution. FORGE is implementing the Rescue Project, aimed at helping commercially sexually exploited children in Cebu City, Mandaue City and Lapulapu City.
Tickets for the milestone fashion event are available at Citigym (Waterfront), K1 (Crossroads), and at Topshop (Ayala Center Cebu).
JCI-Zugbuana is a Cebu-based all-ladies organization with the mission of providing development opportunities to empower young people and move them towards creating positive change.
