If you’re an avid fan of Filipino actor Piolo Pascual, here’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss. Get a chance to meet and greet the matinee idol as he invites Cebuanos to join Team Pangilinan and Coach Rio dela Cruz to the Timex Run Cebu on August 5, 2012. The meet-and-greet event will be at the Ayala Center Cebu on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at 5 p.m.
There are two ways to score an entry pass to personally meet Papa P.
- Timex Shoppers in Ayala
All you need to do is present a receipt of a Timex watch worth Php2,990 from Timex Shop Ayala or Metro Ayala Department Store. The date of the proof of purchase should be between August 1 and 5, 2012. Once you have already purchased your Timex watch, race to the Privileges Desk located at the first level of the Ayala Center because only the first 200 shoppers to register will receive an entry pass.
- Registered Participants to the Timex Run Cebu
The first 200 registrants to the Timex Run will also get a free entry pass. Simply present your race bib and race singlet at the Privileges Desk. Passes may be claimed from August 1 to August 5, 2012 or until the last pass is redeemed, whichever date comes first.
Each entry pass enables the bearer to bring one companion. The Privileges Desk is open daily, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The promo staff has the right to verify the authenticity of the receipts. Therefore, they have the authority to deny transactions they believe are fraudulent or suspicious (i.e. tampered or reprinted receipts).
In order to get in during the meet-and-greet event, the entry pass should be presented. The Ayala Center Security shall have the right to authenticate details on the pass such as the specimen signature. Everyone is encouraged to come early because reserved seats will be forfeited five minutes before the show begins. The gates will be opened to the public until the last seat is occupied.

Piolo Jose Pascual is a Filipino film and television actor, model, musician, and movie producer. He started his acting career in German Moreno’s “That’s Entertainment.” Before his career could actually take off, he migrated with his family to California, USA. Tired of working odd jobs and inspired to pursue his dream of acting, he went back to the Philippines.
He signed up with ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, where he was given roles in soap operas. Because of the television series “Ezperanza,” where he starred alongside Judy Ann Santos, the Piolo-Juday love team was formed. Their box-office movies included “Bakit Di Totohanin,” “Kahit Isang Saglit,” “Till There Was You,” and “Don’t Give Up On Us.” Their high rating soap operas were “Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka” and “Sa Piling Mo.”
One of Pascual’s major achievements was receiving Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s 2003 Special Recognition for Rare Grand Slam award. He bagged the best supporting actor award for “Dekada ’70” in eight different Filipino award-giving bodies. Dekada ’70 was the Philippines’ best foreign film language entry to the 76th Academy Awards in 2004. In May 2005, the said movie was also shown at the New Cinema of the World section of the Cannes Film Festival.
Pascual has recorded three studio albums entitled “Piolo,” “My Gift,” and “Timeless” that received various awards. He also has four compilation albums under his belt. In 2007, he celebrated his 10th showbiz career anniversary with a coffee table book entitled “Piolo: Believing” and a solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
In 2009, Pascual produced the independent film “Manila” and represented the Philippines to the Cannes Film Festival. He, together with three of his friends, later on founded Spring Films, the company that produced “KimmyDora,” starring comedian Eugene Domingo.
