The Philippine Nurses Association, Inc., in line with their 89th Foundation Anniversary and 54th Nurse’s Week, is inviting not just nursing students and graduates, but all running enthusiasts to their fun run this October 23, 2011. Entitled “N’ D-A-S-H: Nurses Driving Access for Society’s Health,” the run will benefit the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).
The start and finish line of the N’ D-A-S-H will be at the Ayala Terraces, Cebu City. The race starts at 5:00 a.m. but everybody is encouraged to come at 4:00 a.m. for the briefing and warm-up exercises.
The registration fee, which includes a singlet and snacks, is Php 350 for 3K, 6K and 12K runs. A discount of Php 100 will be given to the first 250 participants. The top three winners will receive cash prizes. For the 3K run, the first prize is Php 2,500, Php1, 500 for the second and 700 for the third. For the 6K run, the first prize is Php 3,000, Php 2,000 for the second and 1,000 for the third. For the 6K run, the first prize is Php 5,000, Php 3,000 for the second and 2,000 for the third. Seven consolation prizes will be given for every category, so 21 participants will be receiving Php 700 each.
