Talk about Freedom Friday! This Friday is absolutely yours! Hooray for holidays! Imagine all the things you can do! If you haven’t booked a vacation, we know how you can spend your three days of freedom.
Today is about chilling, good food and listening to good music. Save up your energy for a jam-packed Saturday!
1.) BBQ Lunch Buffet
Spoil yourself and get transported to Mongolia with mouthwatering dishes of the BBQ Lunch Buffet at Cafe Marco, Marco Polo Plaza, Veteran’s Drive, Nivel Hills, Apas. Buffet is P750 per person. If you find you can’t get enough of it, you’re in luck because Marco Polo will be having the buffet everyday from Monday-Friday until July 31, 2015.
Musika Cebu continues to keep its promise of giving you nothing but the best of original Cebu talent. They’ve prepared four bands great bands to chill with you tonight, July 17 – Deanery, Bethany, Shuffled and Supremacy. The music starts playing at 8 PM tonight at the Koa Treehouse, Lahug, Cebu City.
Which group of local bands are more of a fan? Because The Monastery, located along Veteran’s Drive, Lahug, is having their weekly Friday night event. For tonight, they have Periodic Table, No Parking Anytime, Ginsync, and Peace of Mind. Music starts playing at 8 PM and ENTRANCE IS FREE.
Let out all that pent-up energy that’s been bottled up after a week of sitting at the office! This day is YOURS!
Start your day with an adventure! Dive into the deep blue waters and see a side of the world you won’t see on your everyday trip to the office. The registration fee is P2000 inclusive of the scuba equipment, the use of the dive site, event ID, transportation and food and certificate. They’re foregoing the jersey which was included in the poster because they weren’t able to get 15 people in time for the shirt to be printed and made. But that doesn’t really matter. When you look back, you’ll remember the experience, not the shirt. You’ll have to hurry! Registration is until TODAY! Head to the nearest Habagat branch or head to the Habagat Main Office [across Pag-ibig Tower in Ayala Area]. More details about the event will be discussed at the pre-event meeting today, Friday, July 17 at 5-6pm at the main office.
Been itching to get a new home? Or looking to invest in real estate? This is your chance! More than 40 of the top developers and real-estate product and service providers will be at the event, offering the best deals on the best properties and real-estate-related services. The exhibit will be at the Cebu Trade Hall, SM City Cebu from July 18-19.
Plot twist: it’s not really a race. Walk 5 km and get a feel of a day in the lives of underprivileged schoolchildren. Registrations starts at 3:00 PM and the race – er, walk – starts at 4:30 PM at the Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan Seascapes Resort Town on July 18, 2015. The fee is P5,000 for a group of 5 people. 100% of the proceeds will be given to Bantay Bata 163.
What better place to let out all that energy than the dance floor? LIV Superclub just keeps getting better and the talent they bring in seem to be keep getting bigger than last. Singapore’s Most Fashionable DJ, Ché Molly, will join GMTFX and LIV Super Club’s own DJs, Dane, Nishhh, Charlz, Jack and Celine. Party starts at 9:00 PM. Entrance fee is P300.
This is a day of rest as you reminisce the fun you had the day before, have yourself entertained and regain energy for the workweek ahead.
Caricatura by Gil Maningo
It’s great to see more art exhibits in Cebu and Gil Maningo’s exhibit is a fresh addition to the growing lineup. His art exhibit at the Art Center of SM City Cebu is a playful nudge in the ribs at public figures from international, national to local. The exhibit opened last July 10 and will be there until July 24.
