A medical forum has been scheduled by Cebu Cancer Fight organization with the theme “Nutrition in Cancer Care for Cancer Survivors.”
Cebu Cancer Fight is a cancer support group and a non-profit organization, which was organized by cancer patients and survivors.
The symposium is free and open to anyone interested. Participants will be treated to a number of valuable topics, including dietary guidelines for cancer patients as recommended by the American Cancer Society and the U.S. National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Omid Etemadi, a U.S. trained specialist on translational and integrative oncology, and Mark Ong, a clinical nutritionist and dietitian, will be the guest lecturers for the symposium.
The symposium will be held on November 27, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Ampitheater 3 of the College of Medicine. It is situated beside Cebu Velez Hospital in Ramos Street, Cebu City.
